When the Frost is on the Punkin

When the Frost is on the Punkin is the first line of a colorful poem by James Whitcomb Riley, a "modern" American poet of the late 1800's. This poem is about that special time of year called autumn and all of the magic and good feelings that come with its debut. I thought it would be fun to show you some great examples of items with a frosty (or frosted) pumpkin theme! Enjoy!

These gorgeous Whimsical Frosted Pumpkins are from HoneysuckleLane and would make a beautiful addition to your autumn decor!

Don't these JACK O - Pumpkin Cookie Favors look positively yummy? I know my grandkids would love them! These are from lorisplace and are just one of several Autumn/Halloween themed treat packages available on Etsy!

This description for this Frosted Pumpkin Cold Process Soap from TenDigitCreations at Etsy is definitely enticing - "Okay, picture this...fresh pumpkin, spices, honey, and maple. You with me so far? Now, toss in a layer of super rich vanilla frosting! ... "

I don't know about you, but it sounds wonderful to me!

Tomorrow's theme will be world travel in honor of Columbus Day - so be sure to stop by and see what I've found for the world traveler! Happy Sunday :)

Sweet. My dad used to sing that "Frost is on the pumpkin" poem. I still love it, especially the line, "the rooster's hallelujah as he tiptoes on the fence".

Nice post!

Thanks so much for featuring my pumpkins! That poem actually was my inspiration for adding the "frost" to them.
Have a lovely day!
