Monday Mystery Theme

I thought I'd try something fun today - and this will be the first of several posts this month that will present an opportunity for you to show off your wisdom, wit, and detective skills.

Today, I'm going to showcase a total of seven items - from Etsy or other similar sites - that have something to do with a particular subject, and it will be up to you to try to figure out what that subject is.  You'll only receive one true clue from me and that will be whether the theme is about a Famous Person, a Famous Place, or a common Thing.  If you think you know what the mystery theme is, post your answer as a comment to this blog post along with a way to contact you. Answers are limited to one per contact address. Everyone who has the correct answer in their post will be entered into a drawing for a $25 MysticWynd gift certificate to be awarded monthly to one of the participants in one of my challenges.

You'll have until midnight CST on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 to post your answers. I'll be posting the correct answer on Friday morning.  The names of all participants with the correct answer will be compiled along with participants from other challenges on this blog through the end of the month, and on February 5th, the winner of the $25 MysticWynd gift certificate will be announced.

Today's theme is about a FAMOUS PERSON... and here are the seven items to help you determine the name of this person:

1. Christian Cross Necklace - Believer - Hand Stamped Sterling Silver
from betsyfarmerdesigns

2. LIFE Magazine - Caroline Kennedy (As a child on her pony Macaroni) - September 7, 1962
from rcvintageprint

3. 1960s Fencing Mask
 from mockingbirdroad

4. Coney Island School Buses
by TaoSorrento

5. erasmus elephant
 by rabbitsmoon

6. Gull Travels
 by RickCainSculptor

7.  Custom Engraved Stone Chinese Character
 by MonkeysJewels

Good luck and have fun!

xo,

I love a good mystery and this one's difficult! I'm going to have to let this one settle for a bit and hope no one figures it out too quickly. : )
