What's a Girl to Do? A BESTeam Feature

I love featuring the shops of new BESTeam members, especially when they're relative newcomers to Etsy as well, like Leonii (pronounced lee-oh-knee) of LutoJewellery. Like many university students, Leonii started designing jewelry for herself because a student's budget is tight and this young woman still wanted to look and feel wonderful. What's a girl to do, right? Well, Leonii's taken it one step farther, and this ambitious young microbiology student has, with the help and support of her boyfriend, begun marketing her designs to help fund her university studies.

Leonii is in the midst of moving into her summer quarters as well as jumping feet first into the handmade arena. She's been busy working on establishing herself and her shop and will be releasing a variety of new pieces in the near future, but I thought it'd be wonderful to share a few of my favorites from her existing listings.

Manchester, England, is the city that Leonii calls home, and with its origin dating back to the 1st century AD, this city embraces a wealth of old world history and contemporary style... much like this beautiful Verity necklace created from beautiful vintage components.

If contemporary suits your mood and personality better, how about something like this darling Dark Plum Ribbon and Bead Crystal Necklace? I love the variety of beads, and the ribbon detail gives it the perfect feminine edge.

"Ellena" is the name that Leonii has chosen for this creation she describes as "quite boho." I happen to love this look, and I have to agree with her that it can be quite versatile, taking you easily from daytime boho fun to a sultry, exotic, and somewhat dramatic evening look. Definitely a multitude of fashion looks for the price of one!

I'm looking forward to seeing the collection grow, and I think LutoJewellery definitely has the potential to showcase some fabulous designs!

LutoJewellery has also given Leonii the ambition to pursue blogging, and her new blog promises to be as fascinating as this jewelry designer and self proclaimed "nerd" (ie - future microbiologist/zombie chaser) can make it! You'll find the links to Leonii's shop, blog, and Facebook pages listed below - be sure to stop by all of them and show this new Etsian some good old fashioned handmade love in the form of some likes, hearts, and follows!
