Forget the Exterminator - A BESTeam Feature

Meet the Creativity Bugs!  I will guarantee that you'll welcome the work of these busy bugs, so just forget the exterminator and greet these bugs and their adorable handiwork!  Sandy and Sue are sisters and business partners - and they hail from the city of Wauconda, in the state of my birth, Illinois (although I just have the short form birth certificate as proof...but it DOES have a raised seal!) I love it when I have the honor of featuring a shop from "back home" - makes me a tad homesick, but it gives me warm fuzzies too!

Like many of the mid-westerners I know, these two have dabbled in a wide assortment of crafts over the years, recently focusing their skills on crafts that can put their love of paper crafting to good use either directly or indirectly, allowing them to create some of the most adorable and uniquely distinctive gifts and cards I've seen in quite a while! Sue still uses those skills that got her that first Brownie patch (for arts and crafts, of course!) to repurpose and create dazzling bits of delight from bits and pieces of this and that, while Sandy uses her artistry and discriminating eye to find beautiful diamonds in the rough and recreate them into something fresh and fun that are sure to put smiles on the faces of their recipients!

I'm happy to share a few of my favorites from their shop - and I hope you'll take the time to visit and see the other magically whimsical and sweet items they offer! They're still in the process of building their stock, and I can hardly wait to see the new items they come up each week!

Let a special someone know you're thinking about them with a handwritten note inside this darling Blue, Green, and Turquoise Hummingbird Hello Card- such a beautifully soothing and happy color palette!

Looking for the perfect little thank-you for the teacher who's helped transform your little one's mind and mold their behavior and social skills? Since butterflies are associated with growth and transformation, and we're all familiar with the social butterfly types, this adorable Creme Brule scented candle with butterflies adorning the lid would be a lovely acknowledgement for any teacher, as well as a great gift for any butterfly lover or person who's undergone their own transformation!

Summer is right around the corner and that means it's sandal season! Treat your favorite feet to a soothing pedicure beginning with soothing foot salts in an embellished tube ready for gifting with a coordinating tag embellished with a cheery flower.  Perfect as a little something extra for Mom's day or as a treat for a special friend, caregiver, or coworker! You could even treat your "usual" waitress at your morning breakfast stop to a novel new "tip" that her aching feet are sure to appreciate at the end of a long shift! Or your mail carrier, or hair stylist, or anyone else who spends a lot of time on their feet. The list is endless - and it's a thoughtful way to acknowledge their efforts!

Now that you've seen some of the charming items that the CreativityBugs have to offer, be sure to heart their shop so you can keep coming back for more!  You'll also want to be sure to follow them on the web at their blog for some great tutorials, articles and recipes; and on their facebook page for new products and special deals - you can find all of their links below!

I love having the opportunity to promote artisans from many arenas, including my fellow Etsians, on my blog, but my BESTeam teammates have a special place in my heart since they trust me with the responsibility of being their team captain. You'll never meet a nicer, harder worker, helpful bunch of people anywhere! If you're looking for a team that's a cut above the rest, check us out!  The BESTeam is dedicated to helping its members promote their shops and assisting each other in marketing, advertising and sharing the tips and tricks of running an online business. If you are a seller on Etsy, have a blog, and either a facebook page or twitter account, and would be interested in joining the BESTeam, the team is accepting new members. You can find more information about the team as well as apply to become a member HERE!
