The Best of Deep Purple

Any true rock music or heavy metal music lover is familiar with the English band Deep Purple. With nearly 40 years of performing and over 100 million albums sold, the band has recently confirmed plans for a world tour, the possibility of a new album release, as well as a documentary on their long history.  I remember their earlier years best, with hits like Child in Time, Hush, Smoke on the Water, Soldier of Fortune, and Woman from Tokyo, and not surprisingly - these songs continue to dominate the favorites list of any younger fan of the group too.

The featured deep purple for my purposes today happens to be the color, however. Actually, it's Pantone's "Violet" a rich and vibrant purple inspired by (who'd a thunk it) - the color of violets... that tiny little wildflower that's a symbol of springtime. So, on with the violet already! I think you're going to like these - I know I did!
