Delightful Discoveries - Deck the Halls...11.01.10

Deck the halls with boughs of holly... and your choice of any or all of these wonderful holiday decorations!

Christmas is about fun, and family, and all of those wonderful holiday get-togethers where you get to share the spirit of the season with those you love most... and if you're anything like me, you love to decorate - EVERYTHING!

Christmas isn't the only holiday or holy day of the season. My in-laws will be celebrating Hanukkah beginning at sundown on the 1st of December. This Feast of Lights last for 8 days - stories are told, special meals are eaten, candles are lit to commemorate the miracle of the oil in the temple, and gifts are given... and of course there are symbols of their rich history, faith and celebration all about.

Around the world and in other religions and cultures, there are many other winter holidays observed as well like Kwanzaa, Yule, and Bodhi Day
- here are just a few items I was able to find for these celebrations!

I'll be back tomorrow with some amazing ceramics and pottery, so be sure to stop by and check them out! Ceramics make a wonderful and thoughtful present for just about anyone on your holiday shopping list!

'til then... have a great day!
