Delightful Discoveries - A Clean Slate 11.06.10

I'm starting off with a clean slate today... a clean slate blue at least! This delightful shade of blue has some greyish undertones giving it a slighty dusty hue and making it the perfect color to "cool" down warm tones or complement other cool shades. I think it creates a stunning and dramatic contrast when paired with black, but you might be surprised at the effect when you mix it with rusts or deep grey greens or even a sandy brown!

Tomorrow belongs to a color that's called Chocolate (#3) - not quite a brown, not quite an orange, and yet not exactly a rust. Should be interesting!
