Her Fun and Crazy Life - A BESTeam Feature

I'm climbing out from under my rock right now. I may be the only person I know that didn't know what the word "cadiwompus" (caddywompus, cattywampus, etc.) means. And why do I even care, you may be asking? Because I'm naturally a curious soul and because the name of the BESTeam shop I'm featuring today is CaDiWoMpUs on Etsy! So for any of you who might still be lingering under a rock, cadiwompus is a term that describes something that is just a bit off, doesn't have a rhyme or reason, or is a little crazy in a fun way!

So who is this CaDiWoMpUs? Well, she is 13 year old Cadley from Guntersville, Alabama, who has an Etsy shop filled with fresh, fun, and yes, maybe a little bit crazy, crafts in the form of fashion, art, accessories, and even pink cupcakes (but we'll get to that one a bit later!)

I'm always impressed when I see one of these teen entrepreneurs - I think we could all learn a lesson from their exuberance and energy and refusal to let anything get in their way! Browsing thru her shop, I could just feel her joie de vivre and could just picture her finishing up a project and declaring, "How cute!" Because that's exactly what her creations are - cute!

Cassie (after an imaginary friend she had when she was little!), a sweet strapless top with a belt and flower brooch in a refreshing floral print.











Little Blonde Jumping Girl - an original painting that would look precious in your precious little girl's room!









And then there's Pink Cupcake! Isn't she adorable? She's made out of pink faux fur and a plastic cupcake cup... and a cheery cherry on top! She has only one eye (perhaps the other one was eaten, explains Cadley) - which just may make her even more loveable!
