In Thanksgiving...

It's Thanksgiving Day here in the United States - a day to be thankful for all the blessings and good fortune that are ours to enjoy every day of the year. I am thankful for so many things - my family, my friends, my freedom, my life. So often, it's easy to grumble and gripe about things that, in the grand picture, are relatively insignificant... and sadly, so easy to forget to say thank you for all of the things, large and small, that make life bearable, enjoyable, and satisfying. So today, I'd like to say thank you to everyone who has touched my life over the past year. To my family and friends, thank you all for the love, the friendship, the occasional proverbial knock upside the head to help me keep things in perspective, the humor that gives me something to smile about every day, and for just being you... to everyone else who has been a part of my life in some way, often nameless and for the most part unknown, thank you for doing your jobs, for the random acts of kindness you do, for the energy you give to make everyone's life better... and may you all know that you are appreciated.

Thought I would leave you with this little Thanksgiving blessing - enjoy the day! I'll be back tomorrow with some more shop features and fun, but until then -

May your stuffing be tasty
May your turkey plump,
May your potatoes and gravy
Have nary a lump.
May your yams be delicious
And your pies take the prize,
And may your Thanksgiving dinner
Stay off your thighs!
