She is a 25 year old Process Engineer with a creative side who loves glass art and finally has found her creative niche in it! Here are her responses to my interview questions!

Tell us a little bit about when and you decided to open your shop - Glass Cube - on Etsy. I had been interested in picking up this craft for awhile. What really got me going was actually kind of funny! On July 4th I was roller blading and fell and broke my tailbone. I had to be home on short term disability from work, and I was going out of my mind with nothing to do. So, I ordered my supplies and got started! I was up and running on Etsy by August 9th!

In your "other life", you have a technical and analytical career. Many people in similar situations use creative outlets as a way of relaxing and getting away from the rat race. What does crafting accomplish for you? In my "other life" I am a process engineer. I spend most of my time analyzing data and figuring out technical problems. Crafting is a great release for me! I am very creative and love doing artsy things. Having this business/hobby has been wonderful to incorporate that into my life.

Tell us one thing that not many people know about you. I actually used to work at an auto body shop! I owned a 64 Ford stepside truck and was working to rebuild it. It was very hard, but I had a great time! Wonderful learning experience :)

What would we be most likely to find on your nightstand or coffee table? Great question! Well it usually stays the same:
Chapstick
An empty water glass (or two)
Alarm clock
and my favorite - right now I am reading Book 7 of the Southern Vampire Series by Charlaine Harris! Great books :)

If you could learn another craft, what would you love to learn? I am dying to learn how to make blown glass vases! I just haven't had the time or money to invest into this yet, but I would LOVE to learn how to do this!

What's on your Ipod/playlist? Country, country, and more country! I love Sugarland, Rascal Flatts, Billy Currington, and more! I also have good 90's rock: Sister hazel, third eye blind, and some matchbox 20!
