Sunday Afternoon Reflections - Famous Fathers

It was a busy day for us. This morning, we headed out to one of the local bowling alleys to watch my oldest (5 year old) grandson compete in a bowling tournament. Two gold medals later and lots of congratulations and pictures later, we headed out for lunch with the winner, his brother and his parents (my oldest son and his wife) for a Father's Day lunch and somewhat belated birthday celebration for my daughter-in-law's birthday! Then it was home to do some laundry and cleaning in anticipation of Al's youngest son arriving in town tomorrow. A recent college grad, he's taking Horace Greeley's time honored advice to "Go West, young man, go West...) - moving from New York State to California to pursue a career in video editing.  So, needless to say, I haven't had time to think today, much less reflect on anything too interesting!

I thought that for a change I'd have a little fun with today's Sunday Afternoon Reflections post instead of boring you all with my philosophical ramblings. In honor of Father's Day today here in the US, I'm challenging you all to match these famous fathers with their uniquely named children! (To reveal the answers, simply highlight the blank next to each distinguished dad by clicking and dragging your mouse or cursor over the not-really-empty space!) Be sure to leave a comment and let me know how you did!

So, How'd you do?  And I have to ask... are you saying a silent thank you to your parents for your own first name right now? Some of these are fun, some are cute, but some? Well, let's leave it at they're definitely unusual!

Hope all the dads out there had a great Father's Day!
