Thank God She's a Country Girl - A BESTeam Feature

It's my pleasure today to feature WayfaringMagnolia, the shop of Amanda Esch, which is filled to the brim with an amazing collection of vintage treasures and upcycled handcrafted wonders. Before I invite you to take a look at some of those beauties, I wanted to share some of the highlights of the information I was able to track down on this extraordinary woman!

Amanda is a recent graduate of Michigan State University with a Bachelor's degree in Humanities focusing on American Music History. Having grown up in the rural area of Wacousta, just outside of Grand Ledge, Michigan, Amanda describes herself as "The country girl who left the cornfields for the big city following her dreams of making it as a performer." In this case, "the big city" is Nashville, Tennessee which is the home of country music, and a new home for Amanda - a place where she's hoping her dreams of becoming a country music star will come true in the not too distant future!

This wayfaring soul has led an interesting life, from being on her school's cross country team, to spending a summer as an au pair in Ireland, to being the lead singer for a group called Bullwhip, she's always doing her best to enjoy all the opportunities that life throws her way! In fact, if my sources are accurate, Amanda was even a member of the Queen's court in the Grand Ledge St. Patrick's Day parade in 2006. (C'mon, Amanda, 'fess up - that was you, wasn't it?)

While she's dreaming of singin' and pickin' on the country stage and enjoying the perks of her current job as a visitor services representative at the Country Music Hall Of Fame and Museum in Nashville, she still finds time to mix her love of history with her passion for fashion in WayfaringMagnolia. By indulging her predilection for amazing vintage items and combining it with a knack for both upcycling and creating great new works of art, Amanda has created a wonderful collection of fashion, accessories, art, and home decor items to please the most discerning tastes.

I decided to pick through and share these colors of the rainbow - kind of in keeping with the brightness of gypsy magic that I associate with Amanda's philosophy on life! Just click on the individual photos for more information or to make a purchase!

This is just a small sampling of the great fashion finds available at this shop. Be sure to stop by and check out her other fashions and accessories as well as her decor pieces and even a few pieces of fun and fanciful art by none other than Amanda herself!

Follow along with Amanda and WayfaringMagnolia to see what life has in store for her, and what she has in her store for you! You can follow her at any of the following locations on the web!

I remember Karen mentioning something about everything she had found!
I am going to have to do my own search on my name now, so I know what to expect when she does my feature :)
Its a great feature though, and its so nice to have someone take the time to research that person featured.
Such an inspiration!
