Delighful Discoveries - A Touch of Glass 11.09.10

Glass can add a touch of class, a whisper of whimsy, a dollop of drama, or a bit of beauty no matter where it shows its radiant splendor! From boiled to boro, caned to stained, carved to crackled, there are an amazing number of methods and materials available for any imaginative glass artisan to have a field day with!

Today, I'm sharing a few of my favorite pieces and styles with you! I hope you'll delight in viewing these as much as these artisans do in sharing with you!

For just a small sampling of what some very talented glass artists are offering on Etsy, they sure are gorgeous aren't they? Tomorrow I'll be featuring more incredible and naturally beautiful items that begin with a South Pacific sea snail known technically as haliotis iris, or paua. I hope you'll join me for a look at some mesmerizing examples of this iridescent beauty! Maybe I'll even have some of YOUR favorites on hand!

Since it's almost hump day, I'll wish you a good one and hope that it's productive and happy for you!
