Delightful Discoveries - Lucky Dog! 08.26.10

I love all sorts of animals, but I've always had a soft spot in my heart for dogs. I got my first dog for my 10th birthday, a liver and white English Springer Spaniel mix that I named Princess Henrietta Dog (PHD), but we called her Princess. I've had several dogs since then, including our current pooch, Sadie, who's an 8 year old terrier mix who thinks she's a cat at times. But she's lovable and loving and one of the best dogs I've ever had! Both of my sons have dogs as well - my oldest having rescued two greyhounds, and my younger son being the proud owner of a couple of adorable cocker spaniels. With her third child due in December, I don't think my daughter has time for a dog too! (At least not yet!)

We're in good company since the majority of households with pets in the US have dogs (although there are actually more cats owned as pets, since people who own cats tend to have more than one!) Since today is National Dog Day, I'd love to share some of the adorable dog related items that were nominated by my followers and a couple that I just had to include from my own favorites!

So, if you would, just send me the links to your favorite raspberry colored item, and I'll be happy to consider adding it to the collection! Just submit your nominations by clicking here!

I should be back in a short while with an Etsybloggers team feature, so until then, have a bow-wow wonderful day!
