Colour Your World

Today it's my pleasure to feature another one of my fellow BESTeam members - Alison from BlueForestJewellery! Alison makes her home with her husband and their chocolate brown labrador retriever in the city of Coventry in the Midlands of England. Allison attributes her love of crafting to her grandmother who loved to sew and do needlecrafts. Through BlueForestJewellery, Alison shares her love of jewellery design and colour through a lovely selection of pieces using pearls, gemstones, and silver among other things.

Isn't it great when you find a classical and classy piece of jewelry that you can wear with virtually everything in your wardrobe? Blue turquoise, green turquoise, pink rhodonite, leopard jasper, picture jasper, red carnelian and silver stardust beads make up this riot of colour bracelet. Match your other accessories to one or several of these colored stones and you're good to go!

Imagine the results if Picasso had been a lampwork artist! Perhaps he would turn out something like the beads used to create this bright and beautiful necklace. With its rainbow of colour, this necklace would be a stunning focal point for that simple solid colored business suit, ordefinitely that bohemian skirt and peasant blouse you love to breeze around town in!

Sometimes just a splash of more subtle color may be all you want to add to your look. Alison's got you covered there as well. I could think of several of my outfits that these pink and cream mookaite twist earrings would look perfect with - and I'll bet you could too!

You can visit Alison's shop BlueForestJewellery on Etsy, as well as taking a peek into her world on her blog http://blueforestjewellery.blogspot.com/ .

What colours would you colour YOUR world with? Drop me a note and let me know!
