Monday's BEST! 04.19.10

"For the love of vintage and all things girly..." What a great tagline for a shop that specializes in adorable handmade girly accessories, jewelry, and well loved vintage treasures! Today's feature is on none other than my BESTeam teammate GardenMis, a wonderful little shop on Etsy. GardenMis' owner and resident craftswoman, Priscilla, lives with her husband and three children in Hamilton, Ohio where she fills her days with homeschooling, crafting, reading, and enjoying her God given blessings! I asked Priscilla to share a couple of interesting things about herself that not everyone knows and she mentioned that in addition to her love of cooking, she was blessed to be able to live in Germany for 3 years and travel Europe a little! What a lucky lady!

Priscilla offers a variety of items in her shop and I enjoyed looking through the items she currently has available for sale! With all of the little ladies in my life right now (my three granddaughters), I always look forward to seeing them with their lovely hair bows - I love that all of their moms like the frills and girly-girl accessories that are available today. It's no wonder then, I suppose, that one of the first things I noticed at GardenMis was this adorable Spring Has Arrived Layered Yo Yo Hair Pretty/Fascinator. The sunshiny yellow looks great with the soft blue and the vintage button center gives it just the right amount of sparkle and gleam!

I also happen to love sachets. I keep a couple hanging in my closet as well as keeping a couple in my dresser drawers (and they're great for luggage - especially the bag your extra shoes go in!) to keep everything smelling fresh and clean. Lavender is a soft and relaxing scent, so these cheerful Organic Lavender Sachets really appeal to me. Wouldn't these be a lovely gift for your favorite "mom" on Mother's Day?
