Take a pinch of whimsy, mix it with a healthy dollop of color, and sprinkle heavily with imagination and creativity and you have the recipe for cheeriness that is Nico Designs. Erika, the talent behind Nico Designs on Etsy and her companion blog of the same name -Nico Designs - is the Etsybloggers Team featured blogger for January 2010!

One of the things that impresses me about Erika is the sense of caring that she shows... in her eco-friendly designs, in her community involvement (she's currently donating a portion of the proceeds from her sales to the Ronald McDonald House and MD Anderson Cancer Center programs), in her commitment to the environment, and in the love that shows through when she writes about her personal life. Do yourself a favor and stop by her shop and blog - her creations cover fun and functionality and her blog articles reflect a wonderful attitude about life, family, crafting, and her creative spirit -with some great factual information thrown in to balance everything out!
